Take Over Girls Academy

The Take Over Girls Academy is the starting point of our pathway — designed for girls from age 5 through 4th grade to build confidence, skills, and love for the game in the right environment.

Skills First

Shooting, dribbling, passing, finishing, and footwork taught step by step.

Game Understanding

Fun scrimmages with guided coaching to help girls learn how to play.

Confidence & Community

All Academy practices are led personally by Coach Alex, with support from the Take Over coaching staff to create an environment where girls feel encouraged, supported, and able to grow.

The Academy is where girls take their first steps in basketball and build the foundation to succeed in future leagues and travel teams.

As part of our pathway, we encourage Academy players to participate in our Girls Leagues when they are in season. The Academy builds skills and confidence, while the Leagues provide the chance to apply those skills in real game situations.
